SIGHTSEEING:

  • AROUND LEH TOWN:Shanti Stupa, Sindhu Ghat, Rancho School, Thiksay Gompa, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurdwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic hill and Confluence of Indus & Zanskar river. 
  • PANGONG LAKE:Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 Meter. Lake is 140 km in length located on Indo-china border.
     

Tour Itinerary

DAY 01 Arrival Leh by flight & transfer to Hotel.

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. Upon arrival you will be welcome & met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for check in followed by welcome tea or coffee. Complete half day for rest acclimatize and Lunch will be serve in Hotel. Afternoon at 3:30 PM visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh in Jorchung Hotel or similar.

DAY 02 Leh – Sham valley – Leh. (Round 240 Km - 8/9hrs).

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. Enroute visiting, Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity and panoramic view of Indus – Zanskar River confluence. After confluence drive to Likir monastery biggest Gelugpa monastery in Sham valley, monastery have beautiful wall painting of tantric deities which was hand work famous Ladakhi artist who was master in Tibetan Buddhist arts and on the side of monastery 87 feet statue of Maitreya Buddha. After Likir monastery drive to Lamayuru and take photo of panoramic landscape of Lamayuru popularly known among the tourist as moon landscape and picturesque Lamayuru monastery. Lamayuru monastery have three portions, oldest part is Singgay Lakhang builted in 11thcentury by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo, second parts was builted in 12th century, third was new one builted in 18th century. After visiting Lamayuru monastery drive to Alchi monastery on the same way back toward Leh. Lunch at Alchi in Restaurant. After Lunch visit 11th century Alchi monastery, listed in world heritage site. After Alchi drive back to Leh on the same road. You will reach Leh around 6:30 PM. Dinner & overnight at Leh in hotel / Guest house. Dinner and overnight stay t at Leh in Jorchung Hotel or similar.

DAY 03 Full day sightseeing of Indus valley monasteries. (Round 94 km – 5/6 hrs)

Today after breakfast at 9:00 AM full day sightseeing of Indus valley, 16th century Shey palace, 14th Thiksay monastery, 17th century Hemis monastery and Sindhu Ghat. Sightseeing start with 17th century Hemis monastery 47km from Leh. On the way stop to take picturesque photos of 16th century Shey palace and 14th century Thiksay monastery. The Thiksay monastery is the biggest Gelugpa sect monastery of Ladakh. You will arrive at Hemis around 10:30 AM. Hemis monastery is biggest and richest Drukpa Kargud sect of Ladakh. After visiting Hemis monastery drive to Thiksay monastery. Hot lunch at Thiksay in restaurant. Post Lunch visit Thiksay and Shey palace King Chapel. After Shey palace drive back to Leh arrive Leh around 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM. Evening free to explore Leh market. Overnight at Leh in Hotel / Guest house.

DAY 04 Departure

Leh to Delhi by flight. Today after early morning breakfast transfer to Airport. Tour and service end!

Exclusions

PACKAGE COST EXCLUSION

  1. Flights tickets.
  2. Mineral bottle water, extra meals or tea or coffee.
  3. Extra use of taxi will be chargeable as per Govt. Taxi rate.
  4. Hotel cancellation due to untimely circumstances, road blockage and Govt strike etc. 
  5. Hotel cancellation due to changes of itinerary date by customers own choice.

Transportation /services don’t use by customers due to ill health etc. during the tour will not be refundable.
